Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Already Built ("Already Built," "we," "us") covering your use of our website and services. By using our site, requesting a demo, or becoming a customer, you agree to them. We've kept them plain.

What we do

We design, build, and host modern websites for local businesses. As part of our outreach, we may build a complete demo website for a business using information that is publicly available (such as a business name, public photos, and public reviews). A demo is a proposal, offered at no cost and with no obligation. If a business prefers we not use it, we'll take it down or remove their information on request.

Plans & payment

Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel anytime. We stop billing going forward and your site stays live through the end of the period you've paid for. Because plans are month-to-month and billed in advance, we don't provide refunds for time already elapsed. After cancellation we stop hosting your site, and we'll help you export your content. Your domain remains yours.

Ownership & intellectual property

Your business name, logo, photos, reviews, written content, and domain remain yours. The finished website we build for you, including its specific text and images for your business, is yours to use while you're a subscriber, and you may export your content if you cancel. Already Built keeps ownership of the underlying tools, code, templates, and systems we use to build and host sites; those are not transferred to you.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that any information, images, logos, and content you provide are accurate and that you have the right to use them. You agree to use the service lawfully and not to provide anything infringing, misleading, or unlawful. You agree to indemnify Already Built against claims arising from content you supply or your misuse of the service.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that violate these terms.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to operate, including Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email). Your use of the service is also subject to those providers' terms, and we're not responsible for their acts or outages beyond our reasonable control.

Service & availability

We work hard to keep your site fast and online, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Already Built is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Suspension & termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end the service, or a specific site, for non-payment, violation of these terms, unlawful or abusive use, or if we stop offering the service, with reasonable notice where practical.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new date above and, for material changes, let customers know. Continued use after an update means you accept it.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are the entire agreement between us about the service and are governed by the laws of the place where Already Built is based, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
